Regional Director's Message - Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. (Southwestern Region)

Welcome to the website of the Southwestern Region, home of two of our Founders, A. Langston Taylor and Charles I. Brown.

As we make an effort to improve customer service within the Region, we’re excited to continue upgrading our website and re-publishing the Praise Newsletter. This website will serve as an essential tool to further advance our communication system along with our Calling Post network. Please find all of the various sections that should provide valuable information as well as an opportunity to communicate with all the key officers of the Region. In the future all chapters will have an email address that will allow the Region to communicate with the chapters INSTANTLY. We also have all the necessary forms of the Fraternity to assist you on servicing the needs of your chapter. Continue to visit the website as additional updates are being made.

The Regional Board and I have been busy implementing the “Six High Priority Areas of the Southwestern Region”:

	Enhance Our Communication System; through the web, email, conference and calling post
	Expand Membership Services within the Region; through Regional, State, Area Directors, Chapter advisors
	Promote Focused Programs; support our National programs at a 75% participation rate
	Enhance Our Financial Stability; enhanced conferences, Club 1914, Bigger and Better Businesses
	Increase Membership; hard work from all
	Focus on Developing Our Collegiate Chapters Through Membership Services and Incentives; through Regional, State and Area Directors, and Chapter Advisors

I send out a very big thank you to all who attended our Regional Conference in Oklahoma City, OK. The conference was very successful and well attended. The holding of the conference with our Intelligent and Beautiful Sisters of The Midwestern Region of Zeta Phi Beta was a definite plus!

Let’s welcome our new Board Members and thank our departing members who served very admirably.
